2024 INDYNXT DRIVERS

Salvador is a 24-year-old racer from Guadalajara, Mexico. He began racing professionally at a young age, competing in the Super Copa Telcel Series and winning two championships in the NASCAR Mexico Series in 2021 and 2023. Eager to advance his career, he added the USF Pro 2000 championship to his schedule in 2022 to get a foothold in the IndyCar ladder.

Salvador now competes with Andretti Cape INDY NXT for the 2024 Indy NXT by Firestone season, driving the #2 Grupo Indi entry. Whenever he’s not racing during an Indy NXT weekend, he can be found racing karts, trucks, and anything else he can get his hands on.

Michael began his racing career at a young age, competing in progressively higher karting championships from the age of six onward. He joined the IndyCar feeder series ladder in 2018, improving every year until he won the USF 2000 championship with Cape Motorsports in the 2022 season. He then advanced up to the USF Pro 2000 championship and proceeded to score four wins in his debut season.

Michael turned 22 years old just before the beginning of the 2024 Indy NXT by Firestone season, and has returned to familiar faces as he competes with Andretti Cape INDY NXT as a rookie in the series. He also studies Business Marketing at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, which keeps him quite busy throughout the year.
